Dornier Trust for aerospace

The Dornier Trust for aerospace is a trust capable of holding rights, and was founded on 25th August 2005 by Silvius Dornier. It’s purpose is to serve non-profit pursuits and it is supervised by the Regional Commission of Tübingen (Regierungspräsidiums Tübingen).

Created through the love for technique and the fascination of flying, it´s task is to impart the achievements and the pioneer spirit of one of the most innovative German companies to future generations.

The most important task of all is the Dornier Museum for aerospace which displays not only aerospace developments but also original components from all technical areas from Dornier, as well as showing planes that were able to fly. Furthermore the trust supports the building up of an archive and a specialist library, as well as research into the history of aerospace.
